Hi, I’m Mita, I completed my doctoral degree at the Indonesian Art Institute of Yogyakarta, Indonesia, and my master's degree at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, USA. Specializing in cultural design, I gained extensive experience working in various graphic design agencies before deciding to fully dedicate myself to academia in 1999.

Now, I am a professor specializing in the field of visual culture, where I focus on exploring the intersections of art, design, and cultural narratives. Through my work, I aim to contribute to the academic discourse and inspire a deeper understanding of visual culture in both traditional and contemporary contexts.
